Trend Personnel Services is partnering with a prominent plaintiff litigation firm seeking a compassionate and experienced Paralegal to support a team handling sexual assault and abuse-related civil litigation matters. This role requires exceptional professionalism, empathy, discretion, and strong litigation support skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide litigation support throughout all phases of sexual assault and abuse-related civil cases
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding sensitive matters
- Organize, review, and maintain confidential case files and supporting documentation
- Obtain and summarize medical, counseling, educational, and investigative records
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and expert witness scheduling
- Track litigation deadlines and assist with case management
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and settlement negotiations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
- Experience in plaintiff litigation, personal injury, abuse litigation, or other sensitive case matters preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
